Research Associate
Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading life sciences and diagnostics organization to identify a Research Associate for an opportunity near Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities
· Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experiments to support project objectives.
· Design, execute, and interpret experimental protocols with minimal supervision.
· Analyze experimental data, make observations, and apply technical expertise to project strategies.
· Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
· Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, Design Control, and company policies.
· Troubleshoot laboratory and experimental issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute creative solutions to project planning.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to potential patentable inventions.
· Train colleagues and monitor work to ensure quality and adherence to the Quality First Time principle.
· Exercise sound judgment when selecting methods and techniques to address complex technical problems.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.
· 2–4 years of relevant post-college work experience.
· Proficiency in specialized wet laboratory techniques, including pipetting, use of balances, stir plates, and related laboratory equipment.
· Ability to search and interpret scientific literature.
· Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
· Strong communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
· Collaborative, coachable, and motivated to learn and develop new technical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with SAFe/Agile planning processes and reporting frameworks.

- Pay range approved: $25.00-$27.00/hr depending on experience
