Get involved with service!
The University at Albany places a high value on giving back to the community. Each year UAlbany students complete thousands of hours of service in the Capital Region. There are four main ways our students can get involved with community service.
- Join one of our 200+ student organizations. Many student organizations engage in service projects throughout the academic year.
- Join one our 20+ service based student organizations. These organizations’ missions range from early childhood education to cancer awareness.
- Students can earn credit hours for service by signing up through the Community and Public Service Program (CPSP).
- Students looking for service opportunities can visit EngageUAlbany.
