Please describe the experiences that have made you a Career Ready Great Dane:
I have been a part of Dr. Lednev’s competitive research lab – students have to take an oral examination to show subject proficiency before being accepted. Since Spring 2024, I have been on the Gun Shot Residue (GSR) team, shooting particles with laser to identify key components and develop a universal method for identification and classification. In addition to my lab experiences, I have participated in student clubs which have helped me gain interpersonal skills like problem-solving and the importance of teamwork. I’ve also tutored within the Learning Commons and learned techniques of translating information to students with different learning styles.
Advice for other Great Danes: Do everything to your fullest ability so that you grow the confidence to apply for opportunities without the fear of failure and rejection.
