Your Role:
We are searching for a remote, part-time AP Macroeconomics teacher with a knack for content creation and social media strategy. Your expertise in Economics, strong communication skills, and passion for teaching will contribute to the academic success of our students. As an AP Macroeconomics Teacher, your responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to high school students, preparing them for the Advance Placement (AP) Macroeconomics exam.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the AP Macroeconomics curriculum and learning objectives.
- Creating engaging and interactive classroom activities, demonstrations, and experiments to enhance students’ understanding of complex economic concepts.
- Facilitating student learning through effective instructional strategies, including lectures, discussions, and multimedia presentations.
- Providing clear explanations, guidance, and support to help students grasp challenging topics and prepare for the AP Macroeconomics exam.
- Assessing student progress through various formative and summative assessments, such as quizzes, tests, projects, and laboratory reports.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and performances to promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree in Economics or a related field. A master’s degree in Economics or Education is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AP Macroeconomics curriculum and exam requirements.
- Able and willing to work during weekends
- Previous teaching experience in AP Macroeconomics or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
Pay Range:
$100 – $120/class
