Recruiting Coordinator – Financial Services
Location: Midtown Manhattan
Schedule: Onsite Monday–Friday
Compensation: $31–$35/hour + paid overtime
A leading global financial services firm, Citadel, is seeking a polished, highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to join its growing talent acquisition team in New York City.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with experience in recruiting, HR, client service, operations, executive search, or another fast-paced corporate environment who is interested in building a career within talent acquisition.
The Recruiting Coordinator will partner closely with internal recruiters and business stakeholders to support a high-volume, fast-moving recruiting process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable juggling competing priorities, and able to communicate professionally with candidates and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Coordinate complex virtual and onsite interview schedules across multiple candidates, recruiters, and business teams.
Serve as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process and help deliver a high-touch candidate experience.
Partner closely with recruiters to manage candidate pipelines and keep recruiting processes moving efficiently.
Communicate with internal stakeholders to collect interview feedback and coordinate next steps.
Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
Prepare offer-related documentation and support candidate communication throughout the offer and onboarding process.
Assist with recruiting events, internship programs, interview days, and other talent initiatives.
Support recruiting projects including candidate tracking, process documentation, reporting, surveys, and team initiatives.
Process recruiting-related expenses and invoices as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and team efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong academic performance preferred.
Approximately 1–3 years of professional experience preferred.
Experience within recruiting, HR, executive search, client service, operations, financial services, professional services, or a similarly fast-paced environment is highly valued.
Internship experience may be considered alongside relevant professional experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
Strong judgment and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
