Job Summary
The Strategic Projects & Corporate Development team partners with Nassau’s business units to lead key strategic initiatives and execute on M&A transactions. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on working experience supporting a cross-functional team, while developing relationships across the organization. The role will include, but not be limited to the following day-to-day needs and projects:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and executing on potential M&A opportunities, and other strategic initiatives
- Conduct industry research and competitor analysis
- Support the team in managing the integration of recent acquisitions and other related projects
- Assist in drafting presentations for senior management
- Participate in due diligence and integration calls
- Support ad hoc projects as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Applicants should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Management, or other related fields
- 1+ year(s) of relevant internship experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently in fast-paced dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
