Partner Development Intern
CLYNK is a circular economy solutions provider. We make it easy for retailers, brands, redemption operators and everyday people to do the right thing through our consumer-centric “bag-drop” technology solutions. We are the fastest growing mode of beverage container recycling and the most requested option by consumers. Our technology supports recycling at scale across an entire ecosystem including states with Deposit Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.
Summer Internship 2024: We are looking to hire a Partner Development Intern to play a crucial role in our mission to expand into new markets and develop strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for new market data analysis, with a focus on understanding new market bottle bill guidelines, initiating deposit research for these markets, and conducting UPC analysis. This role is essential to our expansion efforts and will provide valuable insights to drive our growth. This is a seasonal, 10-week position (June-August 2024), Monday-Friday, based in our South Portland, ME office.
Job Description:
The Partner Development Intern will provide support to the Partner Development Team. This role will include the following responsibilities:
- Market Data Analysis: Research and analyze data related to new market bottle bill guidelines, including deposit requirements, compliance and regulatory conditions.
- Deposit Research: Initiate in-depth research on deposit systems within target markets, including the understanding of nuances of deposit programs and their impact on recycling initiatives.
- UPC Analysis: Conduct UPC (Universal Product Code) analysis to identify initiators of deposit and areas of service that may inform our strategy in new markets.
- Data Management: Efficiently organize and manage data collected during research, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Partner Development team, sharing insights and findings to support their efforts in forming strategic partnerships.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports summarizing research findings and recommendations to the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency in database management tools and data visualization software is a plus.
- Adaptability- highly comfortable multitasking, solving problems and handling the ever-changing needs of your coworkers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Excellent internet research skills, ability to maximize use of online resources.
