DIRECTOR OF CENTRALIZED INTAKE
Located at 396 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701
The Director of Centralized intake is responsible to ensure low barrier rapid access to clinical services in behavioral health settings. This position presents services to outside agencies and stakeholders. Coordinates web-based platforms such as NY Matters and United US. Coordinates with local institutions to make them aware of intake availability, conducts brief screenings and as needed full intakes.
Job Type:Full-time Salary: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 – and FULL BENEFITS Hours: Usually 9AM to 5PM
MUST HAVES
Education>
- Master’s Degree Behavioral Health Field + QHP status
Experience>
- 3 years expereince in Addiction Field
License/Certification>
- Current LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW – preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Works with all departments in three counties to ensure rapid access to low barrier admissions and assessments.
2. Participates in external stakeholder meetings.
3. Coordinates and collaborates with all department heads for wrap around services including but not limited to, peer recovery support, intake scheduling, access to MAT, community-based treatment and engagement, case management needs.
4. Provides SUD and Mental Health assessment as needed.
5. Collaborates and problem solve any rapid access barrier with the leadership team.
6. Acts as a liaison to outside providers and references.
7. Drive intake and admissions process and support census growth for clinical services across all sites.
8. Recruits clients for the program utilizing coordination across programs to meet the clients’ needs and decrease barriers.
9. Develops centralized intake capacity for all Behavioral Health services.
10. Collaborates with Agency leadership to assess and implement best engagement practices.
11. Works with CCO to ensure workflow and procedures are client centered, clinical best practice and create solution focused changes in the behavioral health system to increase engagement and decrease no-show rates.
12. Collaborates with all departments to ensure timely psychiatric evaluations and MD scheduling.
