Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Innovation, the Student Assistant (SA) will support the AVP on special projects, provide administrative support to the Minerva Center for High Impact Learning, and provide support to the Coordinator for Degree Completion and Learning Assessment.
Examples of assigned areas of work/tasks:
· Support the expansion of the Project Based Learning Network
· Issue skills badges on Credly
· Assist with the NYS Legislative Internship and SPEED Internship application processes
· Compile degree completion student enrollment and outreach reports
We are seeking applicants enrolled in a graduate or doctoral program at UAlbany. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communications skills, is able to work independently, and is extremely organized. This position is ideal for a student who understands the higher education landscape and is interested in current issues in higher education.
This position is for the Spring 2024 academic semester, beginning on January 17th, 2024 (or as soon as possible) and ending May 10, 2024.
Depending on workload and student availability, we expect that the person in this position will work 10 -15 hours per week. Pay rate is $17 per hour.
