GREAT Jobs

Overview

The GREAT Jobs Program at University at Albany is designed to meet the cost of attendance needs for a specific group of under-served students. The program seeks to connect students to meaningful and lucrative employment opportunities across the University during their First and Second Years of attendance. These positions are exclusive to students in the GREAT Jobs Program and are curated by the Office of Career & Professional Development. As of the Fall 2023 semester, these positions pay $15.25/hour with a maximum of 10 hours per week. For more information, please check out the FAQ.

Eligibility

In order to maintain eligibility for the program, First-Year students will need to have earned a minimum 1.5 cumulative GPA at the end of the Fall Semester of their Freshman year and earn a 2.0 cumulative GPA by the end of the Spring Semester of their Freshman year. For Sophomore students, a 2.0 Cumulative GPA is required. Eligibility status will be managed by the Office of Career & Professional Development at the end of each semester.
