Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or graduate student with educational concentration in philanthropy, international relations, communications, global affairs, foreign policy, development or other related field
- All applicants should have completed the equivalent of four semesters of college coursework (not including AP classes in high school) by the time they begin an internship
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Drive, and Adobe Products
- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication, research, writing, editing, and customer service skills
- Bilingual French or Haitian Kreyol a plus
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Managing Director of Haitian Women’s Collective around civic events happening in Haiti
- Attend organization related meetings
- Research and communication with partner and support organizations
- Development of capacity building infrastructure
- Overall project management and participation as it relates to organization and fundraising
- Complete administrative tasks in support of HWC priorities
Regularly track, monitor and report events that influence the work of HWC in Haiti and abroad
