If you are working with undergraduate students who are looking for a way to build their resume and earn money, we are accepting applications for the fall 2024 Peer Career Advisor Trainee position!
As a PCA Trainee, they will:
- Increase their professional skills including communication, time management, and delivering constructive feedback
- Become proficient in using platforms such as Handshake, LinkedIn, and UAlbany Career Advisory Network (UCAN)
- Train to become a student representative for our Office (learning about our services/resources and serving as a point of contact when students enter the office)
- After completing the training sessions, they will be fully prepared for a future role as a PCA.
Trained PCAs conduct resume critiques and provide entry-level career guidance. Our Peer Career Advisors are recognizable UAlbany leaders and role models with transferable skills valuable in all industries.
