What to Consider When Applying to Graduate School

Applying to a graduate degree program can be both an exciting and challenging process. It is very important to do as much research as you can on the university and program before you begin an application. This all starts on the university’s website.

Ask yourself what matters to you! Is it faculty? Ranking? Cost of living and location?

Keep track of your options and create a list, calendar, or excel sheet that notes all your universities and programs of interest, cost, application requirements and deadlines, funding options and deadlines, and any other pertinent information. This will help you throughout the research and application process.
