The Sustainability Analyst Intern will perform analytical tasks to evaluate HSE metrics and sustainability performance and assist with updating our database. They will also provide support in preparing weekly, and monthly HSE reports. Support ongoing projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed.
What you’ll be doing:
Conducting advanced statistical analysis to uncover hidden patterns, correlations, and other insights into HSE and Sustainability performance.
Maintaining and governing the use and data input to all HSE and Sustainability electronic management systems. (i.e., incident management, action management, contractor management, environmental management, etc.)
Tracking and reporting on HSE incident metrics. Analyzing data to identify trends and distill insights into HSE performance
Actively participating in Sustainability Team meetings.
Developing Sustainability presentations and conducting meetings as needed
What you’ll have:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Health, Safety, and Environmental or Math related fields or working towards it.
Technical skills to maintain electronic data management systems
Must have a basic working knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations (Federal, State, and Local levels) and OSHA 1904 Recordkeeping knowledge
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and perform in a fast-paced environment
