Job Description
· Work proactively with production and engineers to support proper in-process inspection and continuously improve manufacturing processes
· Design, run, test and upgrade control systems and processes to coordinate activities and production planning, ensuring products meet quality standards
· Write, set up and maintain programs for Renishaw CMM with articulating head.
· Develop and implement innovative initiatives to improve production quality, reduce in-process defects, and improve efficiency
· Assess existing data/processes, take measurements and interpret data to enhance company performance
· Develop, configure and optimize processes for new projects from inception, production to shipment phase in a highly sophisticated machining environment
· Design and make fixtures and parts on 3D printer
Requirements
· Self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic and organized
· Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
· Excellent technical skills
· Knowledge of process related standards and software·
· BS degree in Engineering with minimum 3.50 GPA preferred
