Overview
The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment in the pharmaceutical industry, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals, and work on dynamic team projects. Our 2025 Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship. The internship may present opportunities for rotational assignments within the function, and the intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the company. Support Gene Therapy programs as a summer intern. Support additional program management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with the Program Manager- responsible for building out and managing the cross-functional timeline for the program focusing on the milestone activities and the associated critical path activities.
- Partnering with the Program Manager-supports program in leading issue identification, risk identification & mitigation as well as leading sub-team meetings.
- Creating tools / process for cross-functional planning
- Develop visuals to support program in conceptualizing program status or changes
- Partner with Program Manager to support effective Team/sub team/Task Force governance.
- Develop Roles & Responsibilities for clinical trial team, task forces (and operations committee initiatives) to next major program milestone
Qualifications
- Interested in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry
- Currently in full-time pursuit of an MBA or other Master’s, or advanced level degree in STEM.
- High level understanding of clinical trial process and project management.
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must successfully exhibit Insmed’s five (5) corporate values: Collaboration, Accountability, Passion, Integrity & Respect; along with any other position specific competencies.
- Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.
Salary Range
$23 – $35 an hour
Compensation & Benefits
Eligible for paid company holidays during the intern program.
Hourly Rate: $25-$35
