Overview
The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment in the pharmaceutical industry, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals, and work on dynamic team projects. Our 2025 Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship. The internship may present opportunities for rotational assignments within the function, and the intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the company. The internship will support various teams within the Human Resources (HR) function, and the intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the company.
Responsibilities
- Build a foundational understanding of real HR challenges and opportunities experienced in a growing, global biotech company.
- Work with a strong HR team on initiatives that let you dive into areas such as Employee Engagement, Change Management and Strategy, and Learning & Development.
- Work on several ongoing and anticipated projects across the function, developing and sharing recommendations with HR leadership.
- Experience client interactions and how we coach leaders in a performance driven atmosphere.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Assist with Annual Development & Talent Planning programs focused on building internal bench strength, creating development opportunities for employees, and identifying critical roles.
- Support delivery and facilitation of cultural and skill-based training programs and build skills in learning experience design and development through creation of engaging and effective training resources.
- Participate in hiring activities, including interview panels and debriefs, and learn how to select candidates for technical fit and culture alignment.
- While role is US focused, opportunity to learn more about global HR practices and programs.

Position Requirements (Required and/or Preferred Skills, Experience and Education):
- Interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources
- Currently in full-time pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s, preferably in Human Resources Management; to be considered, candidates must be active students at the time of the internship with a graduation date no earlier than December 2025
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative
- Able to embrace and adapt to change in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation/public speaking
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work, easily changing direction as needed
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a variety of computer systems, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Salary Range
$23 – $35 an hour
Compensation & Benefits
Eligible for paid company holidays during the intern program.
Hourly Rate: $25-$35
