The Financial Reporting Assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial reports. This role supports the financial reporting process by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, helping to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (such as IFRS or GAAP). The assistant works closely with various departments, including accounting, finance, and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Gather, analyze, and consolidate financial data from different subsidiaries, divisions, or departments.
3. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Collect and review financial data from different entities within the organization.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and company policies.
6. Assist in the preparation of audit documentation for internal and external auditors.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Experience: Some experience in auditing, accounting, or finance is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
· Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
o Familiarity with audit software and accounting systems is a plus.
