A.S.E. Global Bridges (ASE) is a New York based non-profit known for fostering a bilateral dialogue through Arts, Sports, and Education between people of the US, Europe, and Eurasia. ASE’s initiatives promote a dialogue of mutual understanding, respect, and shared values, and are recognized by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs, American Councils for International Education, and many others.
ASE is hiring Program Assistants for Summer ‘25 for its internationally acclaimed John Cranko School Summer Intensive and the International Contemporary Masters Workshop, which offer unique training opportunities for pre-professional students of dance with leading teachers, artists, and choreographers in the fields of classical and neoclassical ballet, and contemporary dance.
The Program Assistants will work as a team of 3-4 and will be responsible for supporting and overseeing the dancers, as well as running some extracurricular/ non-dance activities (outdoor games, arts & crafts, etc.). This position is well-suited for candidates with strong academic or career interests in: performing arts, arts administration, youth education, global languages/cultures (especially European), and sports medicine.
REQUIRED:
- Commitment for June 30* – Aug. 9. 2025, in-person in CT. Resident and Meals will be provided. First week is trainings, with June 30 and July 1 being remote
- Must be 18 years or older at start of the program
- Experience with overseeing youth (ages 9-15yrs)
BENEFITS: $3,000 – $3,500 for the period (combination of wages/bonuses), housing & meals, 5 days off, travel allowance for out of state staff.
