Applying for a Federal Position? New Resume Requirements

Starting tomorrow, September 27, 2025, USAJOBS, the federal government’s official employment site, will not allow you to upload or build resumes longer than two pages.

What this means & next steps:

  1. If you already have a saved resume(s) in your USAJOBS profile, you will need to update it/them to meet the new, two page standard before applying to a job.
  2. If you have created a resume but, have not uploaded it to USAJOBS, use guidelines to modify if it is longer than 2 pages before uploading to their website.
