Students can use the summer months to gain valuable experience. In the Make the Most of Your Summer Series, we highlight various students who are making their summer count. This week’s spotlight is on Ryan Yavinsky, a junior and Accounting and Business Administration double major, who will be interning at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He’s also one of our awesome Peer Career Advisors (PCA)!
What are you doing during this summer?
I’ll be doing the Start Internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The Start Internship is an opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds.
What do you hope to learn from this experience?
I want to gain valuable experience and learn more about the different accounting concentrations. I want to see if a Big 4 Firm is where I would want to consider working after I graduate. I also hope to network with other PwC professionals.
Outside of this experience, what else are you looking forward to this summer?
I’m hoping to explore a lot of new restaurants in New York City that just opened or are now re-opened after Covid. I also want to explore the different food markets and festivals that only occur during the summer.
Thanks Ryan! There’s still time to look for internship opportunities, make an appointment with our office!
